Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the left. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: This man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on his right hand. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker blue hat.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: Aldous was born the youngest of three triplets. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Aldous began to lead the lost caravan. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stableman they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Roofer, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears bulky blue painted plate armor. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 98. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Born in the north to a Sellsword, Theobald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sellsword. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sellsword responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Roger has worked very hard to control his curse. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of drow
