He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has worked as a Performer like his mother before him.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. History: He got into the Animal Trainer business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Slave Trader profession.

History: Dean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Painter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family; and wishes to resurrect an old love
