History: Adelard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Junk Dealer, but he was a colossal failure. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To be a Junk Dealer again; and balancing his hectic life and new barrister responsibilities is difficult

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
