History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Unemployed for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a herbalist again

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
