His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
