History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Charles was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. He carries with him a set of crossbows, each one with a opal on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His auburn hair is lengthy. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When Roland reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Junk Dealer for the past few years.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Junk Dealer responsibilities is difficult; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.
History: Robert was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Personality: Anselm wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Warrior, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.
History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and a deep hatred of gnolls
