Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has blue eyes.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Description: He is a husky man, who wears skinny pants and wears a brown and green robe with the hood down. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. This hazel eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Born in the east to a Navigator, Frederick learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: Robert hails from a village terrorized by drow. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fletcher, and he later adopted a second son.
