History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Trym alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs.

At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
