Description: This late middle aged man very much looks the part of a Mortician and is in decent physical shape. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, and carries bastard swords. He sports a flattop hair cut. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has worked as a Scribe like his father before him.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to be a seamstress again

Description: This late middle aged man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition and is in decent physical shape. He has auburn hair. His eyes are likewise green.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Conrad's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Conrad's homeland. Conrad decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Conrad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Architect, but he got bored and became a Fortune-teller. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. He found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult.
