Through the years after Conrad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Conrad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Justin hails from a village terrorized by drow. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
