Personality: He is fixated on the number 10. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears dull yellow sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed crossbow, just in case. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is knotted and matted. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the east to a Healer, Kyle learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Healer. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Healer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a suit in poor condition. Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
