History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Justin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Born in the east to a Map Maker, Bernard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
