History: Born to a Glassblower, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and many brigands want him driven away

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Jocelyn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
