History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. William took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Charles was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He tends to his Priest job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Priest and was forced into it by his family.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Lewis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and an old rival family wants him found
