Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Don began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Don was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Patrick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
