History: Conrad lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Trey was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.
