Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears blue trousers with grey and brown striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is a Tanner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a yellow suit, blue shirt, and black tie. He has wavy blonde hair. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Born in the north to a Locksmith, Justin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Justin took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He became a Locksmith soon after.
Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to be a sellsword again

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Hunter was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

Roland took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and green handkerchief worn on his right side, and he perpetually has his whip ready. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He comes from a rich northern family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
