Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a grey coat. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Dean does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears his golden hair up. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his feathered green hat.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bellfounder, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Ernest lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and money/treasure
