Description: This tall, slender man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His head has been shaved. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.
History: Born to a Bookbinder, his mother struggled to pay the bills. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has achieved small success as a Carter.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This southern man wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. Kyle is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a priest and was forced into it by his family

Description: An older man who dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Norman embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Norman was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He carries a battered scythe and tarnished axe as well. He wears his red hair up. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: Gifted from a young age, Alex studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alex fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
