History: Godfrey lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
