History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born in the east. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
