Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second son.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
