History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
