History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anthony grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He tends to his Carpenter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is a Cartwright first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Rolf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his youth he was a Priest, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
