History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Servant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He is well dressed, constantly wearing a yellow suit, violet shirt, and black tie, and his gloved hand is found clutching a pickaxe. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
