Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Crown-heir. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Dustin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
