History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his daughter

He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Carter, but he was a colossal failure. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is greedy

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Godfrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against dire rats
