History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a black coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a broad hat upon his head and is in decent physical shape. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Randal hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Gifted from a young age, Randal studied abroad. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arnold studied abroad. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and money/treasure
