Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light grey in addition to tight pants. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. This blue eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Rolf is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
