History: Born in the north to a Bricklayer, Theobald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and doesn't want to be a bricklayer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and his religion dominates his actions
