History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against brigands

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Cory never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
