History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He bought a greataxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kody embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Kody and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
