Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is wearing a long, tan, dusty cloak. His blonde hair is singed and shortened. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This man prefers to wear pastel clothing when he does not wear armor. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on his left hand. He wears his silver hair up. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ernest isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: He is a husky man, who wears an entirely green suit with white socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His hair is long and golden with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He's also a talented Bellfounder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is lean but muscular and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom
