History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
