History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A freak accident while working with his Courier mother left him crippled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
