History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. He found a children's book about a Human Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Don grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Henry is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Henry hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ruler profession.

History: Solomon was born with his father's beautiful face. His childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he has money and likes to spend it
