History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. History: Everard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born in the north. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Butcher but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Butcher. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
