History: Robert hails from a village terrorized by giants. Through the years after Robert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Personality: John is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Randal embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Randal was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Slave Trader. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: Roland hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born in the south to a Crown-heir, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Geoffrey grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Geoffrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
