Through the years after Solomon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Solomon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Solomon and his spouse have recently divorced.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Now he works as a painting tutor during his time off.

He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mayor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
