History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Conrad's homeland. Conrad decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: He prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor. He carries with him a set of warhammers on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is dressed in earthy colors with a white and grey handkerchief worn on his left side. His brown hair is knotted and matted. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
