History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Theobald never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: An older man who wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, he is not a threatening figure. He sports a flattop hair cut. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Balimaar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Balimaar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He wants to get laid.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His hair is cut close to his head. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Voice: High pitched and raspy

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose green pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shortbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Human compassion; and revenge

Description: This man wears suspenders and grey workpants. His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he's looking for his big break
