His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. History: Born to a Navigator, his father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
