History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a Mercenary soon after.

History: Gifted from a young age, Diggory studied abroad. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: Miles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
