His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are amber.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Farmer for the past few years.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Manfred took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
