Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He has moderate length golden hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Born to a Engraver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Kyle took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up nunchaku and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Kyle and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the left. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Geoffrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
