History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Robert was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Robert's homeland. Robert decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he is greedy
