He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat, marred by teas. His silver hair is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are gray.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Percival will drive conversation. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Percival is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Chad was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Laborer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He takes great joy in being the best Sage in town.

History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
