Personality: Roland wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a white poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is auburn and curly. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Richard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A freak accident while working with his Mortician father left him crippled. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'7" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

His hair is long and silver with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Cook arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
