He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His first spouse was a Merchant, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born in the east to a Guard, Reynard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and to be a tanner again

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kyle grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
