Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears black leather gloves, a black jacket, and tight pants. His hair is cut close to his head. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and revenge

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears bulky brown painted plate armor. His red hair is greasy and uncared for. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Cory reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: He wears a simple tan robe with yellow stripes complete with hood, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'6" when asserting himself. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He is baby faced.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears a colorful flower in his auburn hair. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Description: This man wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 36. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
Flaws: Ugly, Insane, Insomniac, Antagonistic. Occupation: Bowyer
